The heat pumps of this series are designed for heating and preparation of hot water in large facilities such as apartment blocks, hotels, warehouses as well as other types of industrial buildings.

A high-efficiency MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC air-to-water heat pump CAHV-P500YA-HPB is a monoblock system which is installed outdoors and intended for water heating up to 70°C (such a temperature of water is achieved by supplying a two-phase refrigerant to the compressor). Therefore the heat pumps of this series are particularly suitable for renovation of the heating systems in the buildings – the pumps may be connected to the existing radiator heating and domestic hot water preparation systems.

A CAHV-P500YA-HPB heat pump consists of two independent hydraulic circuits each having 50 percent of power. Up to 16 outdoor units may be combined into a single control system (total heating capacity of up to 688 kW), to be controlled via a single remote controller PAR-W21MAA.

Two modes of operation are available for CAHV-P500YA-HPB heat pumps – heating priority or energy efficiency priority.

The new CAHV-P500YA-HPB heat pump may be combined with various other MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC systems.
